One of Sri Lanka's top UN World heritage sites (Temple of the Tooth) is located closed to Aqua Duhinda ~ 15KM in the City of Kandy. Constructed ~1500 AD the relic has played an important role in countries culture, Buddhist religion, governance and heritage. The annual perahara held in August, is a must see that includes a parade of ~200 elephants and draws international and location tourist.
